Today was a busy, fun and exciting day.  We had pumpkin carvings with our reading buddies and grade 3 did AMAZING.  I was so proud of how well they did but also caring for the kindergartens.  WAY TO GO!  Then, we had a presentation by one of our students mothers who is also RCMP.  Students loved the presentation and gained more knowledge on safety during Halloween.  Thank you again Mrs. Dunn!!!

Friday, October, 24, 2014 Good morning everyone :) Today 3R is having a Pajama Day!!! I am not sure who is more excited me or the kids?  We are sadly saying "see you later" to one of our own today.  We will sure miss Maya a lot! She has been such a joy, kind, loving and caring little girl.  She knows how to make everyone laugh at the right times.  We can't wait to get emails and pictures from her adventure in Costa Rica. Tonight is the Annual Corinthia Park School Barn Dance! We are all excited to dance and just have a blast.  I can't wait to see their  costumes and dance moves. Hope to see you all there :) Students have been working very hard and improving so much in less than 2 months.  I am so proud of them and what they are accomplishing.  Here are some pictures of the kiddies working hard at Etude de Mots.  They are enjoying studying while "playing".

Friday October, 10, 2014 Today was a wonderful day.  We had an exciting day planned and had lots of fun.  The kids first began their day with a Skype session with Cody Narvey; a friend of mine who went to Peru for a few months.  The kids were able to ask him questions about his experience and we then discussed what they learned.  This was a great way for them to relate more and be able to understand how different Peru and our country is.  Today was Riley Brophy's birthday, therefore we were treated to AMAZING cupcakes and we also had Timbits (I am sorry parents haha).  We then created Turkey hats; which was A LOT of fun. I am thankful for our amazing class; sometimes it will be hard, sometimes it will be easy but overall they are an AMAZING group of kids.  I am thankful and blessed to have this experience to get to know them.  I am also thankful for all your great parents who are understanding, accepting and always willing to help...
